Our Building projects may involve extending occupied buildings, to demolition and the re building of a premises.
We are highly skilled in the Refurbishment & Alterations sector. Projects have included the conversion of a Private School to Private Apartments and Maisonettes, and for our Public Sector clients we have converted classrooms to toilet blocks, installed science labs and converted shops and flats to accomodation for a Housing Association.

Our electrical contractors are NICEIC registered and our Plumbers are Gas Safe Registered (formerly CORGI). As with all of our sub contractors they are expected to comply with all of our standards and policies. We generally work with the same local sub contractors as they are trusted by our clients and work well with our own teams. All sub contractors are assessed before being included on our own select list.
Most of our maintenance is for Public Sector clients, this may involve: roof repairs, guttering cleaning, boarding up windows, gas and electrical problems, decorations and render repairs to name a few. We are equipped to carry out your maintenance needs within a given time and to Health & Safety Standards. A lot of our commerical & publc work involves working in occupied environments, therefore good planning and communication is key.
We can help you with your project from start to finish. Being involved in the design process, then the building of your project assists us in ensuring we are fully aware of your expectations, can advise you on cost saving measures and recommend the best local suppliers for your internal fixtures and fittings.
Our creative team can assist in putting together your design ideas on paper. We can then submit your drawings for Planning Permission, advise you on Building Regulations, Build costs and time scales along with issues regarding Sustainable Building and the Environment.
We have our own team of fitters installing your choice of either aluminium, timber or uPVC. All products can be made to measure - bespoke timber items are generally more expensive and take longer to make, all fittings are compliant with current Building Regulations. Premises within conservation areas or Listed Buildings may require Planning Permission.
Our team of carpenters, tilers, decorators and plumbers have fitted many kitchens and bathrooms for us over the years, from luxury bespoke designs to those on a budget. We only use suppliers known for their quality and service. We can assist in the design & planning of your project, alternatively we can recommend local suppliers who offer their own design service which we can work to.
Working with both the Public Sector and Private residents we are able to meet and discuss your requirements. Past contracts have included: Lift Installations (internal & external), Ramps and Handrails, Level Access extensions (Bedrooms & Ensuites) , Level Shower Adaptations, automatic doors and Disabled toilet facilities for both Public and Domestic markets. Some domestic works may be eligible for VAT Relief or Grant Aid from your local authority.
Led by one of our Site Supervisors who has worked for us for several years, our Painting & decorating teams are able to meet all your requirements to the highest of standards. Whether its a new look for the office, external decorations or large scale projects for the Public Sector, we can advise you on the best products for the best results, and if your struggling on a design scheme, Emma & Trish are both qualified Interior Designers.
We directly employ 2 teams of Plasterers, both meeting the high standards expected of us and our clients. Both teams are multi skilled in other trades, which assists in contract progress. From internal plastering to the smoothest of finishes to lime render and scatter finsihes our team can deliver your needs.
From face brickwork to brick paviors we are able to provide a high output quality service, for either the private or public sector, from new builds to brick driveways and retaining walls.
We use our own directly employed team and carefully selected local sub contractors to carry out all our clients roofing needs, whether this is slate or tile, flat roofing in felt or sarnafil, glass or plastic finishes in bespoke designs. Most roofing replacements and repairs will require a scaffold which we can also provide.
Everyones safety on site is paramount, and therefore our scaffolders hold accreditation under the Construction Industry Scaffolders Registeration Scheme (CISRS). Safe working platforms are required to carry out the majority of Working at Height tasks. We can provide you with a seperate quotation as to your scaffolding requirements.
Many a school holiday is dedicated to working within local Schools & Colleges. Our projects have involved Access Improvements, Cloakroom, Science and IT Classrooms and associated equipment, New builds, playground works, general decorations, all needs can be catered for. We understand the importance of deadlines, these are met through good planning & communication. All of our team are CRB Enhanced Checked and cleared to work in schools whether occupied or empty.
Some of our contracts have involved work within high security areas. With the support of our teams and sub contractors, we understand the importance of safety for everyone on site,and ensure Site Inductions before work commences and the setting up of a safe & secure working area.
For smaller contracts our own team carry out tasks such as foundations, drainage and pipe laying. On large, more complex contracts, or highways working we are able to rely on several local sub contractors all of whom have worked closely with us and our teams over the years and comply with our assessment requirements. Some projects may involve Landscaping, Garden Design, Tree felling or hedge trimming, we use qualified and accredited teams of landscapers for your gardening and horticulture needs, they can also advise you on layouts and the best plants for your project.
These are services provided by our regularly assessed local subcontractors. All types of flooring finishes can be supplied and fitted to high standards, whether carpet, vinyl or wood in your premises.Samples are always available. We are also able to provide a ceiling service to your specifications such as suspended, false or specialist lighting inserts.
All fencing needs can be met by our team whether your looking for a bespoke timber or metal design or a basic chain link installation. As with gates, previous projects have included the installation of electronic gate systems, garden gates or school entrance works.
